Bill Hale is a partner in the law firm of Eberhardt & Hale which he and Eric Eberhardt founded in 2002. He has a broad base of legal experience, and is admitted to practice in all of the superior and state courts in Georgia, the Georgia Supreme Court, the Georgia Court of Appeals, and U.S. District Courts for the Middle and Northern Districts of Georgia.

Bill grew up in Athens, Georgia and attended public schools there, graduating from Clarke Central High School in 1982. He received both his undergraduate and law degrees from the University of Georgia, earning a B.A., summa cum laude, with a double major in History and Political Science in 1986 and a J.D. in 1989. After law school, he gained experience in civil litigation while working as an associate at a law firm in metro Atlanta, and also earned a M.Div.degree, cum laude, from Emory University in 1992.

Since 1993, Bill has practiced law in the areas of civil and criminal litigation, domestic relations, real estate, and wills and probate. For the past 10+ years and going forward, Bill has focused and will continue to focus his legal expertise on providing premier legal services to the firm's clients in the areas of real estate, wills, and probate. He is an authorized agent for First American Title Insurance Company, a leading title insurance company in the U.S. and Southeast.

Bill cares about his clients and is committed to achieving the best possible result for them. He believes in honest and direct communication while providing top-notch, thorough, and effective legal representation.

Bill is a member of the State Bar of Georgia and the Western Circuit Bar Association, and is a past president of the Toombs Circuit Bar Association. He believes in service to others, and has held leadership positions in his church and community organizations, including serving as President of the Rotary Club of Oconee County. His wife, Allison, is a member of the University of Georgia Law School faculty, and they have two daughters, Emmeline and Isabelle.
